Towards Peace By Sasi Victoire
"This project is a culmination of decades of creative inquiry and cultural engagement—a space where art becomes more than expression; it becomes intervention. In a world grappling with instability and division, I see this as a timely opportunity to foster peace through cross-cultural collaboration and meaningful dialogue. My practice has always strived to challenge boundaries—between disciplines, between people, between nations—and this initiative is an extension of that vision. It's not just about making art; it's about making space for understanding, reflection, and transformation." -Sasi

Who Am I?
I’m Dr. Sasi Victoire—an artist, writer, curator, and educator with a passion for using art as a bridge between cultures. With a PhD and Master of Arts, my work is grounded in both academic inquiry and cultural insight, shaped by over four decades of creative practice across Australia and internationally.
My journey has taken me through visual arts, theatre, and literature, exploring themes of identity, environment, and social justice. Residencies in Malaysia and Thailand, along with exhibitions from Jaipur to Cairns, have deepened my belief in the power of cross-cultural dialogue.
Whether mentoring Indigenous artists, creating children's books, or curating community-led exhibitions, I strive to empower others and spark conversations through art. Towards Peace is part of this ongoing mission—to use creativity as a tool for healing, connection, and transformation.
